It’s a clash of economic, legal, religious and social concepts.
Today some 8,000 Muslims congregated today in D.C. for “A Day of Islamic Unity”. Interestingly it was pretty much a dedicated religious exercise praising Islam.
“A sermon afterward urged all Muslims to “God bless America” and avoid the “trap” of hating anyone, particularly Christians and Jews.“ That is fine and good, but is it a front is the question?
All religions have an “agenda” no big news there. Obviously that agenda is to increase its membership and influence.
The problems start to appear when a religious agenda becomes more important than the general well being of the host area/country.
Most religions have extreme factions that reject general society, typically they huddle together and prosper there.
Other religions such as Environmentalism, Islam and Socialism respect no such boundaries and openly seek to shove their agendas down the throats of general society.
Various religions seek to get a general acceptance of their precepts but seldom try to force them on the populace.
An obvious example of accommodation and acceptance is Israel, it’s a Jewish country and political and religious freedom is rampant.
When Muslims immigrate to a country, generally the first thing they do is to demand that everyone else essentially bow and scrape to their unique economic, social and religious demands.
The Islamic religion has a very strict oppressive regimented sometimes described as “cult like” structure. That structure seems to be pretty much to be totally locked into the years “when they ruled much of what was the then civilized world“. Being ruler is a pretty compelling reason for capitulation of the populace.
As a practical matter the Islamic religion has crippled the countries it controls and/or very heavily influences. A few examples of success exist but are a rarity.
Once upon a time The Catholics “ruled much of what was the then civilized world”, now they are just another religious faction and that pretty much is it.
The Mormons have extensive political empires but don’t attempt to push their religious values on the general populace. Generally few have a clue the Mormons are even hanging around.
However, when Muslims come into an area they immediately start prodding and pushing to force their value system on the general populace.
As a general observation the average Muslim is just following the flock and commands from the “leadership”. All religions demand total belief in and subservience to the leadership so that is not unique.
The major problem is that the Islamic leadership is still stuck way back in history. They refuse to adapt and modernize demanding their followers stay stuck in the same mode.
Some observers suggest the grand objective of “once again ruling the world” is the primary objective.
Some wimp countries are patronizing the Islamic invasion and are risking internal destruction. Europe is hanging by a thread.
The mush-mind Progressives in the USA are blindly endorsing Islam basically because they are mush-minds.
The Muslims and the Islamic religion are welcome in the USA, if they want to assimilate and be Americans. Pretending don’t cut it!
There is minuscule evidence that Muslims and the Islamic religion truly want to assimilate and be Americans. Muslims in American continually exhibit they are here to be Muslims and we better damn well do what they demand.
If they succeed it will be another nail in the coffin of the USA. I have yet to find a Islamic premise that would be a positive for the American experience. The same with Environmentalism and Socialism, both are abhorrent pipe dreams.
