It’s been a few days since the May 5 incident where students were disciplined for wearing t-shirts bearing the image of an American Flag on Cinco de Mayo.  I have paid close attention to the reports, commentary and punditry in the aftermath, and I am astounded that no one has yet made the points I am about to expound upon.  Once you consider them, you may also find it surprising that such obvious conclusions could be so easily overlooked!

New York’s attorney general has been accused of “bullying” a private employer to acknowledge a “right” by workers to engage in cross-dressing in a move critics say “takes the bedroom into the workplace.“

Attorneys for the federal government have argued in a lawsuit pending in federal court in Iowa that individuals have no “fundamental right” to obtain what food they choose.

Encouraged by news at least twelve states plan to follow Arizona’s lead by cracking down on illegal immigration with versions of SB 1070, organizers with Voice of the People USA and Tea Party Patriots Live are announcing historic mega rallies in Phoenix Arizona and around the nation this June 5 through June 12 accompanied by Americans shopping in Arizona to counter any boycotts.

Open borders advocates are livid that the State of Arizona has enacted a new law authorizing State law enforcement personnel to arrest illegal aliens. The Reverend Al Sharpton is threatening to march. The mayor of San Francisco has declared Arizona off limits as a travel destination. The national government of Mexico has issued travel warnings. President Barack Obama is contemplating bringing a federal lawsuit against the State. Some are calling for a boycott of the State.

In one of the last Babylon 5 episodes, you see a tight community of Catholic priests housed in a secluded building somewhere on earth in the year 3000. They are the keepers of all the old records. Records of the numerous wars throughout all of history, especially the Shadow War in the 2200’s, and the commander of Babylon 5 (250,000-person space station light years from earth) and his actions that led him to direct the entire galaxy’s outcome. But Catholics were the last remaining humans in 3000 AD before the Final Coming.

Rush Limbaugh and a few other radio hosts have made it a center piece of the attack against President Obama, the Tea Partiers have often put such sentiment on their protest signs, and the conservative chattering classes have been abuzz with the question: does Barack Obama want to destroy the United States?
